April Thompson is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with Priorities ABA, PLLC, providing services in Raleigh and the surrounding areas. April earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland University College. She began working for Priorities ABA in 2012 as an ABA Tutor. It was during this time that she decided to change her career path from Marriage and Family Therapy to Applied Behavior Analysis. In 2017, while working as a Registered Behavior Technician, April completed her Masters in Education in Foundations of Behavior Analysis. She has done 1: 1 direct ABA therapy with children ranging on the autism spectrum for 6 years at Priorities ABA. April has experience working with children ranging from ages 2 to 16 years. She has provided ABA in homes, schools, and community settings.
