Who can receive services from Priorities ABA?
We specialize in providing ABA therapy programs for children who have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (including Autism, Aspergers Syndrome, and PDD-NOS). We work with children at all functioning levels from very severe to mild. Often, our clients also have additional diagnoses, including Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, ADD / ADHD, anxiety disorders, seizure disorders, etc.
When appropriate, we also work with children with other related developmental disorders such as Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disabilities, Fragile X Syndrome, various genetic disorders, and others.
At what age can a child begin therapy with Priorities?
We work with children starting at the age of 18 months.
What are the qualifications of your Behavioral Consultants?
Priorities’ consultants are licensed to practice Psychology in North Carolina (LPA’s), and are Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA’s). In addition, some Consultants are also licensed in Virginia as Behavior Analysts (LBA). For more information about the specific qualifications of our staff, please see our team.
Where do you provide services?
Therapy services are provided primarily in the child’s home. When appropriate, services can also be provided in the child’s school, community, daycare, or other setting.

How do I make a referral to Priorities?
We accept referrals from any source. The easiest way for a family to get started is to have the parent call us directly at 252-341-4192. We will discuss our program, their child’s needs, insurance / funding options, and how to get started.
