SERVICES

Initial Meeting
The Initial Meeting allows parents to learn more about our company and the services we offer.
The meeting generally lasts between 1 to 2 hours.  This meeting includes a review of all previous
testing your child has received and a detailed discussion regarding your child’s current skills,
behavioral problems, and needs.  We discuss what ABA is, what it can do for your child, typical
costs involved, and options for funding.  We also cover the steps to follow to start an ABA
program.

Initial Assessment
The Initial Assessment provides detailed information about your child’s skills in the following areas:
gross motor, fine motor, pre-writing, cognitive, language, personal / social, and self-help.  This
information determines areas to target for improvement.  Follow-up assessments provide methods
to track your child’s progress.  The assessment includes test administration, test scoring, telephone
consultation, and a written report.

ABA Workshops
Home based ABA Workshops include 8 to 12 hours of both contact and non-contact hours.  The
contact hours include an evaluation of your child’s current skills, instruction for you and your
therapists in the basic techniques of ABA therapy, guided practice in implementing ABA techniques,
and instruction in data collection. We explain and demonstrate each new program developed for
your child, and have each person (therapist) working with your child practice these techniques. The
non-contact hours include preparing programming tailored specifically to your child’s needs,
compiling a written report, and providing up to one hour of additional telephone or email
consultation.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
If additional assistance is needed between workshops, the following services are available.

Telephone or Email Consultation
This service answers questions from parents regarding behavior issues; program implementation;
therapist issues; funding; and community resources, such as schools and mental health.  This
service can also be used when the parent requests the consultant to communicate directly with
others professionals involved in their child’s treatment such as teachers, speech therapists, case
managers, etc.

Videotape Analysis
Videotape Analysis addresses more complex problems with behavior issues, program elements, and
therapist issues that arise between workshops.  This service provides in depth feedback and follow-
up.

Written Materials
Written Materials such as recommendation letters for CAP, insurance companies, IEP goals, etc.
are available upon request.

Additional Consultations
Additional Consultation hours are available by appointment for a variety of services, including
school observations, attending meetings (I.E.P., mental health, etc.), and additional training for
therapists.
